- Consolidated net sales grew 3,6% to Rp27.43 trillion

Jakarta, 31 October 2017 – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (“ICBP” or the “Company”) today announced its financial results for the period ended 30 September 2017. ICBP posted 3.6% growth in consolidated net sales to Rp27.43 trillion from Rp26.47 trillion in the same period last year. The Noodles Division remained as the top contributor to net sales, delivering around 63%, followed by the Dairy, Snack Foods, Food Seasonings, Nutrition & Special Foods and Beverages Division which contributed around 20%, 7%, 3%, 2% and 5% respectively.
Income from operations increased 4.8% to Rp4.16 trillion from Rp3.97 trillion, and operating margin slightly increased to 15.2% from 15.0%. Income for the period attributable to equity holders of the parent entity grew 7.4% to Rp3.04 trillion from Rp2.83 trillion in the same period last year; net margin improved to 11.1% from 10.7%. In addition, core profit increased 4.0% to Rp3.04 trillion from Rp2.92 trillion.
Anthoni Salim, the President Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICBP, said: “Market condition has not improved significantly in the third quarter. Demand across key fast moving consumer goods categories is still very modest, while competitive environment is more challenging. We are pleased that we deliver top and bottom line growth as we continue to expand and deepen our distribution penetration as well as manage our costs prudently.”
