• Consolidated net sales increased 6% to Rp34.48 trillion
• Income from operations increased 21% to Rp7.10 trillion
• Core profit grew 54% to Rp4.68 trillion
Jakarta, 31 July 2023 – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (“ICBP” or the “Company”) today announced its financial results for the period ended 30 June 2023. The Company posted a 6% increase in consolidated net sales to Rp34.48 trillion from Rp32.59 trillion in the same period last year.
Income from operations increased 21% to Rp7.10 trillion from Rp5.88 trillion in the first semester last year and operating margin remained healthy at 20.6%. Core profit, which reflects the underlying operating performance of the Company, increased 54% to Rp4.68 trillion from Rp3.03 trillion in the same period last year.
Anthoni Salim, the President Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICBP, said: “We are encouraged by the results we achieved in the first half of 2023. Going forward, we will remain cautious, and continuously adapt our strategies and initiatives to address the uncertainty in the global economy and market conditions, to deliver a sustainable performance with a healthy balance sheet”.
